What is Zoomtopia?

Zoomtopia is Zoom’s annual user conference designed to celebrate our customers and all those who share interests in the future of frictionless communications! 

Get a front row seat for Zoom’s latest product announcements, connect with like-minded peers from across the globe, discover solutions from our expansive partner ecosystem, engage with Zoom experts, uplevel your skills with curated tracks, and be inspired by world-renowned speakers. 

Zoomtopia 2020 will be two jam-packed days of learning and inspiration like never before and will prepare YOU to make a positive impact throughout your organization.

What is the theme for Zoomtopia 2020?

At Zoom, we are dedicated to creating epic communication experiences for our customers and changing the landscape of business communications forever.

We’re pleased to announce that this year’s visual theme will be Epic Environments, which celebrates Earth’s jaw-dropping landscapes and explores how customers can create their own epic environment with Zoom.

With Epic Environments as our theme for this year’s event, we’re also excited to announce our focus for Zoomtopia 2020: Courage. It takes courage to create groundbreaking solutions for the problems of today, and we can’t wait to celebrate the courage that our partners, customers, and advocates embody with the innovations they’ve created and the changes they are enacting.

What is the recommended dress code for Zoomtopia?

Zoomtopia will be an indoor event with some outdoor elements. We recommend business casual, but there is no enforced dress code. The Bay Area can get hot during the day and chilly in the evenings, so take this into consideration when planning your attire.

What is your substitution policy?

If you are unable to attend, you may substitute one friend or colleague’s name per registration for no fee. All submissions must be completed by 5:00pm (PDT) on September 16, 2020. Substitutions will not be permitted after this deadline. Please send your cancellation request to zoomtopia@zoom.us  with your name, email address, and registration confirmation number. A registration confirmation will be sent to the new registrant once the substitution is confirmed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 pm (PDT) 7 days before the event (September 16, 2020) to be eligible for a refund, less a $50 (USD) processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 5:00 PM (PDT) on September 16, 2020. Please send your cancellation request to zoomtopia@zoom.us  with your name, email address, and registration confirmation number.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits?

If you are a Zoom customer from a non-profit, please reach out to zoomtopia@zoom.us for more information about attending.

Is the event ADA accessible?

Yes. If you have an ADA inquiry, please send an email to zoomtopia@zoom.us.

Where is Zoomtopia?

Does Zoomtopia provide discounted hotel rates?

Yes! The participating hotels and rates will be announced in March with plenty of time to book your accommodations. If you have any questions regarding booking accommodations, please email zoomtopia@zoom.us.

Which airport is closest to San Jose?

The San Jose International Airport is 3.9 miles from downtown. San Jose is also serviced by San Francisco and Oakland airports. Both are within a 45 to 60-minute drive to San Jose.

Does the venue have parking?

Yes. The San Jose Convention Center offers parking for an additional fee (not included in the event price).

What is included in my Zoomtopia ticket?

Your registration for Zoomtopia is a full two day conference pass. You will have access to all keynotes, breakout sessions (with a few exceptions), the Exhibit Hall and event celebration. Meals, drinks, and snacks will also be provided.
